Antique Victorian Scottish brooch locket and earring set. Both pieces are set in silver with an ornate thistle design. The brooch has a glass locket on the back where a picture or lock of hair can be stored. The earrings are hallow with the same matching thistle design. 

Thistles are the national symbols of Scotland. It was believed by the Celts to mean "Bravery, Strength, Durability and Determination.
